Valorant Mobile generated more than one million dollars in China on its debut day
On August 19, 2025, Riot Games and Tencent released the mobile version of Valorant in China. According to Bloomberg, citing data from the Appfigures service, the game's launch was successful.

It is reported that by the end of the first day, Chinese gamers spent more than one million dollars on Valorant Mobile. This figure pertains only to the iOS version of the game. The metrics for the game's performance in Chinese Android stores are not tracked by Appfigures, and Google Play is blocked in China.
The number of downloads for the Chinese iOS version of Valorant Mobile was estimated by analysts to be 170,000 within a day. According to them, a similar performance was observed at the launch of the popular Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, which was released in China in May 2024. This isn't entirely surprising, as Tencent recently announced 70 million pre-registrations for Valorant Mobile. Thus, it can be expected that the game's downloads will increase in the near future.
Riot Games announced Valorant Mobile in 2021. It remains unclear when the global release of the game will occur.
