Karthik Ramakrishnan, a partner at IVP, remarked on Appcharge's rapid growth in the gaming infrastructure sector, spotlighting how the company is paving the way for a new era.

Ramakrishnan highlighted the shift from a time when mobile game publishers had to pay sizable fees to distribution platforms, observing that those days are coming to an end with Appcharge innovating the next phase of the industry.

Previously, in November 2024, Appcharge gathered $26 million in Series A funding led by Creandum. Together with the Series B funds, this raises the company's total secured investments to $89 million. More details are available in their previous report.

The company intends to utilize these funds to expand its services with new offerings, addressing the burgeoning demands of the global mobile gaming market and driving the next wave of player engagement.

The funding announcement highlighted Appcharge's influence over "more than 100 games," with publishers noting a "significant uptick in retention and average profit increases of 35%." The platform now facilitates transactions exceeding $500 million, reflecting a remarkable 14-fold growth over the past year.

CEO and co-founder Maor Sason sees legal decisions and policy adjustments as momentous changes that have opened new avenues for direct consumer interactions.

Sason expressed that game publishers are transitioning to direct models for enhanced economic benefits. He emphasized Appcharge's leading role in this transformation, offering alternatives beyond traditional app and web stores for improved consumer options.
