FX is reportedly developing an "anthology drama" based on the Far Cry series
FX is in the process of developing an "anthology drama" based on Ubisoft's Far Cry series.

According to Eurogamer, Ubisoft apparently posted an update on their website, which was later removed.
Prior to the removal, those who viewed the page shared on Reddit that Rob Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Noah Hawley, known for creating the Fargo series, are collaborating to bring this series to life.
Reports indicate that Mac will take on a role in the series, with Hawley assuming the role of showrunner.
The removed announcement from Ubisoft reportedly stated that each season will introduce a different setting and new characters, aligning with the video game's standalone narrative approach.
The series will reportedly have Mac and Hawley as executive producers, with Jackie Cohn from More Better Productions, 26Keys Productions' Michael Garcia, and Nick Frenkel from 3Arts Entertainment also involved.
Ubisoft representatives Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, and Austin Dill are also mentioned as being affiliated with the project.
GamesIndustry.biz has sought further details from Ubisoft for confirmation.
This Far Cry series appears poised to join the ranks of other significant gaming franchises transitioning to television, like HBO's adaptation of The Last Of Us and Amazon Prime's version of Fallout.
