The open beta of Battlefield 6 online exceeded 300,000 players in just a couple of hours
On August 7th, early access to the open beta of Battlefield 6 commenced. The interest in this upcoming shooter is substantial.
The beta became available at 11:00 a.m. Moscow time. Currently, only those who joined the Battlefield Labs program, subscribed to EA Play Pro, watched certain streamers, or met a series of other requirements can play it.
According to SteamDB, in less than two hours, the Battlefield 6 beta reached over 300,000 concurrent users (CCU) on Steam. At the time of writing, it had reached 307,030 CCU and continues to grow.
The main stages of Battlefield 6’s beta test are scheduled for August 9-10 and August 14-17. On these dates, anyone interested can try out the shooter, which could lead to even more impressive numbers.
Currently, Battlefield 6 ranks 9th in number of wishlists for unreleased games on Steam. Last week, the shooter also secured 3rd place in the Steam revenue chart—thanks to pre-orders.
