Good Job Games secures $60 million through Series A funding round

Good Job Games, a developer of mobile games from Türkiye, has recently acquired $60 million through a Series A funding round. In less than half a year, the company's total funding has surged to $83 million.
A press statement reveals that the funding was spearheaded by Menlo Ventures and Anthos Capital, with Bessemer Venture Partners also contributing.
This financial boost follows a seed investment round six months prior, where the company raised $23 million.
The funds will be directed toward expanding the global reach of their free-to-play match 3 puzzle game, Match Villains, with the aim of creating a lasting entertainment brand through games driven by social interaction.
Ilker Ilicali, the head and founder of Good Job Games, remarked, "Match 3 is already the biggest genre in mobile gaming, but the best in the category is yet to come."
He continued, emphasizing, "We are committed to crafting the most engaging modern Match-3 experience with Match Villains."
Ilicali also noted the enthusiastic user response and impressive data, crediting their talented team for their dedication to excellence and constant effort to enhance their offerings.
Meanwhile, another Türkish mobile gaming firm, Circle Games, has raised $7.25 million in a recent funding round. These funds are designated for ongoing development of their current project, Sort Express, as well as for other unrevealed games.
