IGEA has introduced Game On Australia, a digital showcase aimed at spotlighting the development of video games in Australia

The Interactive Games & Entertainment Association has revealed Game On Australia, a digital platform created to promote the Australian game development sector.

This initiative receives backing from the Australian Government through the International Cultural Diplomacy Arts Fund. The Game On Australia project is designed to emphasize "the creative talent, infrastructure, and government support that make Australia a leading choice for game development," as mentioned in the press release for this event.

The Game On Australia website serves as the platform's hub, offering Australian developers information on funding and insights into industry data and metrics.

Additionally, the website outlines funding advantages for local talent to attract potential investors, such as details about the 30% Federal Digital Games Tax Offset.

This tax offset, enacted in 2022, permits qualified companies that create digital games in Australia to receive a 30% rebate on their Australian development expenses.
