In 2024, Moscow's gaming and IT companies earned 3.9 trillion rubles
These figures were mentioned by the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, in his blog. He did not specify how much revenue was generated directly by game developers and publishers, excluding other IT professionals.

As a result, gaming and IT companies accounted for more than half of last year's total revenue in Moscow's creative industries. This amounted to 6.7 trillion rubles (+103.8% compared to 2019).
According to Sobyanin, there are currently over 33,000 companies in Moscow whose work is related to games or IT in general.
