Airship Interactive has entered administration, transferring all employees and assets to a newly formed entity called Airmergent

Update, July 15, 2025: The assets of Airship Interactive have been acquired by a new entity called Airmergent, which is a successor to the original studio.

This acquisition was made to address broader challenges within the industry, as stated in an official release. Under the UK's TUPE regulations, all employees of Airship Interactive have transitioned to Airmergent, ensuring no interruptions in employment terms, salaries, or client services.

The studio, maintaining its focus on high-quality art services, will also enhance its capabilities with co-developments and a stronger strategic concentration on technical prowess.

According to the statement, the current management funded this changeover to continue the business's operations seamlessly and retain the studio's artistic legacy.

Joe Harford, CEO of Airmergent, remarked, "Airmergent enables us to safeguard our team, uphold the work we cherish, and create a more robust enterprise. We are building upon the reputation Airship has worldwide, venturing into collaboration, improved workflows, and more flexible work methods."

"I commend our team's perseverance and thank our partners for their ongoing support in this new chapter," Harford added.
