In six months, the number of Roblox games with an online presence of over 50,000 people increased by 60%

The Buzz Around Grow a Garden, along with the summer holidays, has led to an increase in online activity for games on Roblox. As noted by Creator Games founder David Taylor, currently, 24 titles have an average of over 50,000 concurrent players.

In a LinkedIn post, Taylor mentioned that six months ago, only 15 Roblox games could boast such average online numbers.

As of mid-July, the main hit on Roblox is the aforementioned farm simulator Grow A Garden. Throughout the last month, its online numbers have consistently stayed above 2 million, with a peak reaching 21.4 million people.

The game Steal a Brainrot, a spinoff of Steal a Garden, which itself is a spinoff of Grow A Garden, is also in high demand. Its average online count over the last 30 days was 935.3 thousand people. Over the past weekend, the number of concurrent players even reached 4.85 million — the second-highest result in Roblox history.

On July 31, Roblox will release its financial report for the second quarter of 2025. It's possible that, with the growing interest in certain games, it will report an increase in overall platform metrics.
