A former director from Naughty Dog is set to establish a new studio in Japan.

Vinit Agarwal, previously a director at Naughty Dog, is setting up a new game development company in Japan.
Agarwal made the announcement on social media, sharing plans to move to Japan and start a new gaming studio, with more details to follow soon.
Though he hasn't disclosed specifics about the studio's size or its upcoming projects, Agarwal has indicated an interest in pursuing multiplayer games, a genre he holds in high regard.
During his tenure at Naughty Dog, Agarwal contributed to the development of titles like The Last of Us Part II, Uncharted the Lost Legacy, and Uncharted 4 for PlayStation. Prior to this, his career involved working on mobile and free-to-play games.
Earlier this year, Agarwal's departure from Naughty Dog was announced, where he expressed, via LinkedIn, his intent to embark on a new venture and create something independently.
"Eager to eventually share more! The experiences and knowledge gained from my talented team at ND, and the guidance from mentors like Robert Cogburn, Erin Daly, Bruce Straley, Neil Druckmann, and Evan Wells, have been pivotal to my career. I look forward to what comes next."
