A former director from Naughty Dog is set to establish a new studio in Japan

Vinit Agarwal, who previously held a directorial position at Naughty Dog, has embarked on a new venture by launching a game development studio in Japan.
Agarwal announced this development via his social media, offering a "life update" in which he discussed his upcoming move to Japan and the creation of his new gaming studio, with more specifics to be disclosed soon.
While the details regarding the new studio's size and the nature of its projects remain under wraps, Agarwal has expressed an interest in focusing on multiplayer games, aligning with his enthusiasm in the field.
According to Agarwal's LinkedIn profile, his tenure at Naughty Dog spans a decade, during which he contributed to three significant PlayStation releases: The Last of Us Part II, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and Uncharted 4. Before Naughty Dog, he was involved in mobile and free-to-play game development.
Earlier this year, upon announcing his departure from Naughty Dog, Agarwal stated that he was "setting out on a new journey, aiming to create something personally fulfilling."
He expressed eagerness about future announcements and reflected on the invaluable lessons learned from his colleagues and mentors, including Robert Cogburn, Erin Daly, Bruce Straley, Neil Druckmann, and Evan Wells, which he described as a defining experience.
