The game director of The Last of Us Online will open his own studio

Agarwal wrote about his decision on X. He promised to provide more details about the studio later, and for now, he only mentioned that it will be located in Japan, where he has just relocated.
It is unknown what kind of games Agarwal's studio will specialize in. Based on the developer's past posts, it can be assumed that these will also be multiplayer projects. A month ago, he called such games his "passion" and stated that he will continue to work on them.
Before becoming the game director of The Last of Us Online, Agarwal was one of the game designers for The Last of Us Part II, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Prior to his time at Naughty Dog, he also worked at Zynga, Red Robot Labs, and Rumble Games.
