Mobile game developer Million Victories, headquartered in Lyon, has secured close to $40 million in a funding round with Haveli Investments taking the lead. This financing aims to broaden its global reach and enhance its workforce for the development and promotion of its game, Million Lords.

The company plans to expand its team size twofold by 2027 and is actively seeking to fill critical roles, such as game director, live ops director, chief technology officer, growth lead, and senior user acquisition managers.

The new capital will also support their user acquisition strategies across various regions, including France, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Asian countries like South Korea and Japan.

CEO and co-founder Benoît Ducrest remarked, "Haveli grasps the essence of Million Lords and acknowledges our accomplishments so far. Their contribution extends beyond mere financial assistance—they are harnessing their extensive gaming industry experience to guide us in making smart choices, accelerating our progress, and fully realizing our potential as a top mobile gaming entity."

Diwakar Rao, a principal at Haveli Investments, commented, "Million Lords distinguishes itself in the competitive strategy game market with remarkable growth, thanks to the team's unique methodology and strong commitment to the project. We are excited to support Million Victories in executing their long-term strategy to scale Million Lords globally."

Million Victories initially obtained $1.4 million at its inception in 2019 and proceeded to secure $3 million in a Series A funding round in 2021, led by Griffin Gaming Partners. In 2023, the developer raised an additional $6.5 million with contributions from Eurazeo and Griffin Gaming Partners.
