"Dragon Age: The Veilguard" has been named Game of the Year at the Gayming Awards 2025

The 2025 Gayming Awards have recognized several outstanding contributors, with Dragon Age: The Veilguard clinching Game of the Year and winning Best LGBTQ+ Character for Rook.

The event took place on July 8 at The Abbey in West Hollywood, awarding Code Coven the Industry Diversity Award, while Stream for a Cause received the Community Impact Award.

The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered was honored with the Gayming Magazine Readers' Award, and Erika Ishii was celebrated as Best LGBTQ+ Voice Actor of the Year for her work as Rook in Dragon Age.

This year's awards ceremony supported the Gayming Foundation, a newly established charity dedicated to enhancing LGBTQ+ inclusion and representation within the gaming community.

Robin Gray, the founder of Gayming Magazine and the Gayming Awards, expressed pride in supporting creators and industry workers through these accolades. He emphasized the importance of creating games with representative narratives, fostering inclusive communities, and advocating for industry-wide changes.

Gray stated, "This year's winners embody diversity, contributing to the industry in impactful ways. Through partnerships like the one with World of Wonder, we're able to amplify our support and advocacy."
