The development team known as Turn 10, responsible for Forza Motorsport, "team is no more"

Reports indicate that Turn 10, the studio behind Forza Motorsport, has been closed, with its team dissolved completely.

Last week, Microsoft initiated layoffs within its gaming sector, aligning with earlier rumors and reports of significant job cuts. Initial estimates suggested nearly half of Turn 10's workforce faced layoffs, but recent developments imply the entire studio might be dismantled.

Fred Russell, once Forza Motorsport's content coordinator, stated on Facebook that Turn 10 Studios "has shuttered," ending the Forza Motorsport operations.

"A very sad day for one of the best car racing video games. I loved my time there," Russell reflected.

According to IGN, Chris Harding, another ex-member of Turn 10, remarked that approximately "120 people" have left the Forza Motorsport team. Remaining team members are expected to transition to support Forza Horizon, under Playground Games.
