A new gaming studio, Cast Iron Games, has launched in Tileyard North, Wakefield, UK, concentrating on high-level co-development and game porting solutions.

Established by industry veterans Arden Aspinall and Jon Seymour, who have held significant roles at Rebellion North and Double Eleven, the studio operates under Pneuma Games Group, the parent of Double Eleven.

The studio has initiated several projects, stemming from personal ties between Double Eleven and Pneuma's leadership and the studio's founders, Aspinall and Seymour.

Lee Hutchinson, CEO of Double Eleven and chairman of Pneuma Group, expressed excitement about welcoming Cast Iron Games into their family, highlighting their intention to build on Double Eleven's foundation.

Currently, the studio is broadening its expertise in porting and co-development and aims to venture into full game creation as the team expands. This initiative aims to support the robust game development tradition in northern England by nurturing local talent.

Aspinall stated the company's name reflects its reliability and quality, drawing inspiration from Double Eleven's growth and shared values. Cast Iron Games aims to forge enduring partnerships, aligning closely with Double Eleven's vision.
