Michael Madsen, known for voicing the character Toni Cipriani in "Grand Theft Auto 3," has passed away

Michael Madsen, known for his acting role in the video game Grand Theft Auto 3, has died at 67.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a representative confirmed that he passed away due to cardiac arrest.
Madsen was well-known for his voice work in video games, with his portrayal of Toni Cipriani in Grand Theft Auto 3 being particularly notable.
His voice talent extended to other titles, including roles such as Don Rafferty in True Crime: Streets of LA, John Tanner in Driver 3, Daud in Dishonored, and Futoshi Shimano in the English version of Yakuza.
In recent years, Madsen played Travis Baker in the game Crime Boss: Rockay City by 505 Games.
His acting career took off in the 1980s, and he became well-known for his performances in Quentin Tarantino films like Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
With nearly 350 credits on IMDB, his filmography also includes roles in WarGames, Thelma & Louise, Donnie Brasco, Die Another Day, and Sin City.
Virginia Madsen, his sister, expressed her feelings about her brother's passing on Facebook.
"He was thunder and velvet," Virginia penned, describing him as "mischief wrapped in tenderness," and "a poet disguised as an outlaw," who was also a son, a brother, and a father, filled with contradictions but tempered with love.
She remarked that they are not mourning merely a public figure or myth, but a real person with a vibrant heart who navigated life passionately, leaving behind a legacy that blends legend with tenderness.
Concluding her message, Virginia mentioned she will miss their private jokes, his laughter, and his presence, emphasizing the qualities of her brother before he became a public figure. She conveyed gratitude for the support received and noted that plans to honor his life would be shared in due course.
