Ubisoft has teamed up with Hooded Horse to publish Unfrozen's game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era
The publisher of Manor Lords, Hooded Horse, has collaborated with Ubisoft to take on the publishing role for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.
Developed by Unfrozen, Hooded Horse will manage the regular operational duties for the new release.
According to Rock Paper Shotgun, Unfrozen stated that having Hooded Horse involved provides enhanced marketing support, improved visibility, and broader regional outreach.
Ubisoft retains ownership of the Heroes of Might and Magic brand.
Alain Corre, Ubisoft’s chief publishing officer, expressed enthusiasm about joining forces with Hooded Horse, citing their passion for the series and solid links to strategic gaming communities as valuable assets alongside Unfrozen's creativity.
Tim Bender, CEO of Hooded Horse, remarked: "Heroes of Might and Magic is a cherished series with deep-rooted nostalgia for gamers. We’re proud to collaborate with Ubisoft and Unfrozen on this venture."

Denis Fedorov, CEO of Unfrozen, commented on the involvement of Hooded Horse, emphasizing the potential to utilize their expertise along with Ubisoft's heritage to bring Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era to a larger audience of turn-based strategy fans worldwide.
The game was announced in August 2024, but recently, the developer indicated that early access has been rescheduled to late 2025.
