Ubisoft has joined forces with Hooded Horse to handle the publication of Unfrozen's game, "Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era"

Ubisoft has collaborated with Hooded Horse, known for publishing Manor Lords, to publish the game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.

The development studio Unfrozen will see Hooded Horse manage the routine operations for this upcoming game.

According to a report from Rock Paper Shotgun, the involvement of Hooded Horse provides expanded marketing, increased visibility, and broader regional reach.

Ubisoft will continue to own the Heroes of Might and Magic series.

"We are pleased to have Hooded Horse on board to support the future of Heroes Might and Magic," stated Alain Corre, Ubisoft's chief publishing officer.

"Their enthusiasm for the series and close ties to strategy gaming communities make them well-suited to complement Unfrozen's creative abilities," Corre continued.

CEO of Hooded Horse, Tim Bender, remarked, "Heroes of Might and Magic is a classic franchise, cherished by many gamers. We are honored to work alongside Ubisoft and Unfrozen on this project."

Denis Fedorov, CEO of Unfrozen, expressed the team's excitement: "Hooded Horse joining the project is fantastic news for us. Their expertise, alongside Ubisoft's heritage, provides a great opportunity to make Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era a success and expand its audience across the globe."

The game was first announced in August 2024, but recent updates from the developer revealed that early access has been delayed to late 2025.
