Nintendo reveals adjustments to the pricing of its original Switch hardware and software in Canada

Nintendo revealed that it will adjust prices for its original Switch line, including hardware, accessories, and software, across Canada due to "market conditions".
This modification will encompass the original Switch, Switch Lite, OLED model, physical and digital games, along with accessories, Amiibo, and Nintendo Switch Online memberships.
According to GameSpot, current prices stand at $400 CAD for the Switch, $450 CAD for the OLED version, and $260 CAD for the Switch Lite.
While Nintendo has not disclosed whether the prices will go up or down, it plans to provide more information on August 1, 2025, via the My Nintendo Store in Canada.
The Switch 2, including its hardware and software, will not be impacted by these adjustments.
Before the Switch 2 was revealed, Nintendo mentioned that US tariffs, applicable from the day of the console's announcement, did not influence its $449.99 pricing.
Nevertheless, the tariffs impacted pre-orders in the United States. After establishing a new release date, Nintendo reassured customers that the Switch 2 price would stay consistent, even though accessory prices increased as a result of evolving market conditions.
