Alex Boucher, co-founder of Game Dev Heroes, has been honored with an MBE

Alex Boucher, who is at the helm of Analog as founder and managing director, received an MBE for his contributions to the gaming sector and entrepreneurship in the list of honors marking the King's recent birthday.

Boucher is not only a key figure behind Game Dev Heroes and Games Growth Agency but also spent five years at Biz Media as MCV/Develop's business development manager. Furthermore, he is actively involved with the gaming mental health organization, Safe In Our World, serving on its board of trustees.

On LinkedIn, Boucher expressed his feelings about the recognition, saying, "I'm honored (and a little surprised) to share that I've been awarded an MBE for services to entrepreneurship and the video games industry."

He continued, "It's a privilege to be recognised in this way, particularly for work that I've genuinely loved – building businesses, driving growth, and championing the incredible talent and creativity in games.

"This recognition reflects not just personal effort, but the support, trust, and collaboration of so many brilliant colleagues, partners, and teams over the years. From early sales pitches to global launches, I’ve learned an enormous amount from the people around me – and I’m incredibly grateful for that."
