"Lesta Games" has officially come under state control
The game development company "Lesta Games" is no longer officially owned by Malik Khatazhayev. As noticed by journalist Dmitry Filonov from The Edinorog in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL), since June 11, the developer of "World of Tanks" and "World of Warships" has been under the control of the Federal Agency for State Property Management.

It should be noted that the change of ownership stemmed from a court decision following a lawsuit by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. On June 3, the court declared Khatazhayev and the head of Wargaming, Victor Kislyi, extremists and ordered their shares in "Lesta Games" to be handed over to the state. Thus, eight days passed between the court ruling and the nationalization of the group of companies.
Representatives of "Lesta Games" previously stated that they disagree with the decision and plan to appeal it. When the appeal will be reviewed is currently unknown.
