AppMetrica now better tracks conversions into target actions

"Yandex" has released an update for AppMetrica. It added another report to the analytics platform — "Conversion." This report displays data on both the initial and repeat user acquisition in apps.

According to the company, AppMetrica clients can now choose specific target user actions in apps and see how they impact conversions. For example, track what happens after registration and ad viewing, or assess the impact of technical aspects such as load speed and the arrangement of elements on the screen.

Conversion analysis can be configured for different types of events — in-app purchases, ad revenue, total revenue, and custom events.

In the report, you can select an attribution model. Currently, there are two: First touch and Last touch. Yandex promises to add more in the future.

Yandex emphasized that the conversion report is linked not to the app installation date but to the selected event within a specific time frame. This allows you to evaluate, for instance, all purchases in a month.
