Warner Bros. Games has a new structure — focusing on major franchises
Last fall, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that its gaming division would focus on four franchises: Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC, and Game of Thrones. In line with this decision, the company has now updated the structure of Warner Bros. Games.

Warner Bros. Games has been divided into the following segments:
- teams creating games based on the Harry Potter and Game of Thrones franchises, overseen by the head of Warner Bros. Games Montréal, Yves Lachance;
- teams creating games based on the DC and Mortal Kombat franchises, reporting to Shaun Himmerick, the head of NetherRealm Studios;
- teams responsible for game publishing, services, technology, and user communication, led by Steven Flenory, head of Warner Bros. Games New York.
All three top managers have been promoted to vice president positions at Warner Bros. Games.
It is reported that the restructuring does not involve any layoffs of regular employees or the resignation of executives.
