Reports suggest that Nintendo is barring players who use MIG cartridges to play pirated games on the Switch 2

Players using the Switch 2 have reportedly been restricted from accessing Nintendo's online services if they've utilized the MIG Switch. This flash cartridge is known for holding unauthorized game copies.
Reports from Kotaku indicate that initially, this device couldn't be used with the new system. Nevertheless, an update to the MIG cartridge now allows Switch 1 games to run on the Switch 2.
Following this development, Nintendo is believed to have initiated bans on those who have, at any point, employed the MIG cartridge on the Switch 2.
Kotaku referenced a Reddit user whose device was blocked after a single use, and another individual on X faced a similar fate for using the cartridge with game dumps.
Last month, Nintendo adjusted its Account Agreement and Privacy policies to enhance restrictions against emulation and piracy.
This update to its US terms makes it clear that the company has the authority to make a user’s Nintendo Service or device entirely or partially inoperative if they violate the stated terms.
