The Institute for Internet Development (IRI) will support the developers of "Gardariki," "Kyndykan," the sequel to "Saturn," and 10 more games
The Institute of Internet Development (IID) has announced the results of the national content competition. This year, among its winners are the developers of 13 mobile and PC games.
"Kyndykan"
Specifically, the Yakut studio "Ilii Games," founded by former employees of MYTONA and Fntastic, will receive funding from the IID. They will use IID funds to create a fantastical adventure "Kyndykan" inspired by Evenki folklore.
IID will also allocate funds to the creators of the games "Gardarika," "Northern Path: New Lands," "Saturn. Legacy," "Academics of Fun Games," "SMERSH: Red Protocol," "Frontline: ZOV," and others. The full list of competition winners can be viewed on the IID's website.
The exact amount developers will receive is not specified. The IID statement only mentions that all winners — among whom are not only gaming companies but also film companies, bloggers, and various other figures — will share 22.6 billion rubles over three years.
