Noice, a platform for multiplayer games and live streaming, has ceased operations

Noice, a multiplayer gaming and live streaming platform, has announced its closure.
Despite securing $21 million in funding in 2023, CEO Tuomas Rinta revealed on LinkedIn that the decision to close was anticipated by those within the company. Rinta expressed a desire for his team to take pride in what they had achieved, despite the outcome.
He noted, "Last Monday, I had to inform the Noice team that our journey is ending. While we had hoped for a different conclusion, everyone was aware of the challenging environment for securing funds. We've tried to stay optimistic about a positive turn, but it was not feasible."
Rinta acknowledged his relatively brief tenure at Noice compared to those who had been with the platform for over five years. He mentioned the range of emotions that the closure brought, including disappointment and anxiety, especially given the daunting job market. However, he emphasized the importance of feeling proud of their collective efforts when reflecting on their accomplishments.
Co-founder and Chairman Jussi Laakkonen shared his sentiments on LinkedIn, admitting that stating "Noice is shutting down" was profoundly difficult. He reflected on the memorable times during the venture, highlighting the achievements of the talented team.
In his closing remarks, Rinta extended gratitude to his colleagues and expressed confidence in their capabilities as they search for new opportunities. He offered assistance to those hiring by providing recommendations from his team, inviting potential employers to reach out to him directly.
