DreamPark, a company specializing in augmented reality development, has successfully raised $1.1 million in its seed funding round

DreamPark, a company specializing in mixed reality, has secured $1.1 million in seed funding. The firm is known for crafting augmented reality (AR) experiences in physical locations using markers like QR codes to transform these areas with digital enhancements.
The recent funding round was spearheaded by Long Journey Ventures, with Founders Inc. also taking part. This investment will enable DreamPark to advance its collaborations with well-known intellectual properties, increase the fleet of its Quest headset rentals, and expand its team of developers.
Currently, DreamPark's AR experiences can be found in Santa Monica and at the LA County Fair. The company has plans to enter markets in Seattle, Orange County, and other corporate event spaces shortly.
Aidan Wolf, CEO and co-founder, states, "Our mission stretches beyond content creation; we aim to foster community by encouraging people to engage, play, and reconnect in tangible spaces," highlighting the company's vision to merge digital experiences with real-life interaction.
Brent Bushnell, who co-founded DreamPark and serves as the business director, envisioned the initiative as "the world's largest theme park accessible to everyone everywhere." The strategy is to make outdoor activities appealing again by increasing their network of access points nationally and forging partnerships with top-tier intellectual properties.
