Iwot Games, the studio behind Wheel of Time, has announced the addition of three senior hires

Wheel of Time Games, the company developing a new open-world role-playing game inspired by Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time, has strengthened its leadership by appointing three industry veterans: Lori Hyrup, John Lindemuth, and Steve Gray.
Reporting directly to Craig Alexander, the head of the studio, the new appointees have taken on significant roles: Lori Hyrup as design director, John Lindemuth as art director, and Steve Gray as technology director, according to GamesBeat.
Hyrup has accumulated two decades of industry experience through her previous roles at Warner Bros. Discovery, Deck Nine, EA, and Kabam. Lindemuth, with an art career spanning 30 years, has served as director of art at Turbine and contributed to Dungeons & Dragons Online, Lord of the Rings Online, and worked at Harmonix.
Gray, with a similarly extensive career of over 30 years, brings his expertise from senior positions held at Tencent and EA.
Alexander stated, “Assembling a high-caliber leadership team was pivotal to producing a game that honors the Wheel of Time legacy. The insights and passion for storytelling that Lori, John, and Steve bring are unmatched.”
He added, “Their addition ensures we can create an immersive experience that resonates with fans worldwide.”
Earlier in the month, Wheel of Time Games also brought on Stéphane D'Astous as the director of studio operations. The aim is to expand the workforce in Montreal to between 200 and 300 employees over the next few years, details from GamesIndustry.biz reveal.
