Ex-developers from Ubisoft, Ready At Dawn, and Midgar have come together to establish Atlantis Studio

Industry veterans from Ubisoft, Ready At Dawn Studios, and Midgar Studio have united to create Atlantis Studio.

This new gaming enterprise, stationed in southern France, has been launched by Ru Weerasuriya and Nico Augusto as an independently financed establishment. Its main goal is to develop engaging games utilizing Unreal Engine 5 aimed at both PC and console platforms.

According to the company's website, the formation is driven by a collective zeal for narrative and emotive gameplay. The studio is presently engaged in developing a project that is rooted in storytelling, striving to deliver meaningful and impactful adventures for gamers.

"We are enthused to declare the inception of Atlantis Studio in the picturesque South of France," stated Weerasuriya, a co-founder, in a message (GamesBeat). "Our aim is to cultivate an innovative and cooperative setting where veteran creatives can unite to forge games inspired by our mutual passions."
