Side, a gaming services company, announces the opening of a new studio in Sao Paulo

Side, a company providing gaming services, has inaugurated a new facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The new establishment in Butantã is expected to enable Side—formerly known as Pole to Win (PTW)—to expand its workforce in South America significantly. This initiative is aimed at creating new opportunities for Brazilians pursuing careers in the tech or gaming sectors, potentially doubling their staff over the next year.
According to Side, the Sao Paulo studio has attracted significant interest from well-known clients, necessitating larger facilities to support its rapid growth and providing substantial career prospects. Approximately 100 new positions are expected to arise in areas such as quality assurance, art, and co-development services.
CEO Deborah Kirkham explained that upon entering the Sao Paulo market in 2024, the intention to expand aggressively was clear from the start. Achieving over 50% annual growth, Kirkham remarked on the company's status as a leading full-service gaming provider in the region and their commitment to continued expansion.
Sébastien Bisch, Side’s Vice President of regional operations for the Americas, emphasized the importance of recruiting skilled and highly motivated individuals to drive success. Plans to secure additional space in their current location have already been made, further increasing their capacity due to evident growth opportunities, the presence of clients, and available talent.
Established in 2009, Side operates 20 studios across 14 countries, spanning North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. They focus on offering various services, including art production, game development, audio production, quality assurance, localization and its QA, player support, community management, and data management.
