The developers from the Polish company Gaming Factory reported that in just five days, JDM: Japanese Drift Master earned $1.2 million in net revenue solely on Steam. Last year, all of their other games earned less, so the race can already be considered a success.

Gaming Factory noted that as of April 30, 2025, the production budget for JDM: Japanese Drift Master was 10.82 million PLN ($2.9 million). The marketing expenses at that time were less than 1 million PLN ($268,000).

The creators of JDM: Japanese Drift Master hope that the game will fully recoup its expenses in the coming weeks.

To date, players have purchased 65,000 copies of JDM: Japanese Drift Master. Of these, 56,000 copies were for the Steam version, and 9,000 copies were for versions in other stores. Additionally, the game is on the wishlists of another 825,000 people.

Currently, Gaming Factory is preparing to start work on the console version of JDM: Japanese Drift Master. The developers noted that due to good initial sales, they will be able to work on it in comfortable conditions.
