Steel City Interactive enhances technical and creative divisions

Steel City Interactive has formed an alliance with recruitment firm Amiqus to enhance the scale of its technical and creative personnel. The gaming company based in Sheffield is actively pursuing new hires to bolster the development of its Undisputed series. This franchise, which was fully launched last October, has successfully achieved sales of over a million copies.
The studio is particularly keen on bringing in seasoned professionals for roles in engineering, art, and design. According to the company’s new VP of studio, Tim Coupe, this hiring initiative embodies their vision of becoming a major creative power in the gaming industry, with aspirations not only for their flagship game, Undisputed, but for the studio at large. "Our aim is to enhance technical quality, boost player interaction, and position Undisputed as the key series in a revitalized market," Coupe shared with GamesIndustry.biz.
Established in 2020 by the Habib brothers — Ash, Asif, and Asad — Steel City Interactive has been on an impressive growth path. Liz Prince, Amiqus' business manager, remarked favorably on the studio's progress under its new direction. She expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration via their Amiqus Alliance service, emphasizing the significant moment this presents for the region's game development industry. "We are thrilled to contribute to this growth," Prince stated.
