Players have spent over $6 billion in Royal Match
The revenue of the mobile puzzle game Royal Match by Dream Games continues to rise rapidly. According to the analytics service AppMagic, user spending in the game has already surpassed $6 billion.

The latest billion dollars was acquired by Royal Match in just four months — the service reported reaching the $5 billion milestone at the end of January 2025.
Note that if you subtract taxes and mobile store commissions from the $6 billion, Dream Games is left with $3.6 billion. This is the net IAP income for Royal Match. According to AppMagic, currently, only three mobile puzzles in the Match-3 genre have higher earnings: Candy Crush Saga ($8 billion), Gardenscapes ($4 billion), and Homescapes ($4 billion).
The net IAP income for Royal Match is distributed among countries as follows:
- USA — 54.5%;
- Japan — 9%;
- Germany — 5.35%.
As for downloads, to date, players worldwide have downloaded Royal Match over 351 million times.
Dynamics of Royal Match's net IAP revenue
As noted by AppMagic, in 2024, the creators of Royal Match changed their approach to the game's development. They focused on LiveOps and strengthening monetization. This impacted the RpD (revenue per download) metric — for example, by the end of April 2025, it amounted to $15.6, which is 17.3% more compared to April 2024.
