Enshrouded and Split Fiction lead the 2025 top German Computer Game Awards

At the 2025 German Computer Game Awards, "Split Fiction" clinched the title of International Game of the Year, while "Enshrouded" by Keen Studios emerged as the Best German Game. Additionally, "Enshrouded" was acknowledged for its groundbreaking innovation and technology.

Megagon Industries earned the title of Studio of the Year, with Steinwallen being recognized as Player of the Year. The winners shared a total of €800,000 in prizes, with "Enshrouded" receiving €100,000 for its accolade as Best German Game.

Felix Falk, Managing Director of game – The German Games Industry Association, remarked on the occasion, stating, "We extend our congratulations to all the winners. The diversity, engaging narratives, and advanced technologies exhibited at the German Computer Game Awards 2025 highlight the robust capacity of German gaming studios."

He added, "Germany brings forth highly engaging games with substantial global potential. These achievements symbolize the country's offerings as a hub for game production. We aim, in collaboration with the new Federal Government, to further elevate Germany's creative and technological prowess on the international realm in the coming years."

A report from earlier this week indicated that over 37.5 million individuals are engaged in video gaming in Germany, marking a record high.
