Alpaka Games secures $2.2 million in seed funding round

Alpaka Games, a mobile development company, has successfully secured $2.5 million in seed funding. The round was spearheaded by Ludus Ventures with additional contributions from A16Z Speedrun and Revo Capital.

According to Mobidictum, this Turkish firm will utilize the funds to enhance its game production capabilities and expand its marketing team.

The company has been accepted into the A16Z Speedrun accelerator initiative, aligning with the 2025 batch in San Francisco.

This initiative provides startups with financial backing, guidance, and crucial connections within the industry.

Co-founder and CEO Can Askoy expressed, "As a mobile game studio originating from Türkiye and in its early stages, partnering with some of the industry's top funds is a source of pride for us."

He noted that the participation in the San Francisco accelerator offered the company an opportunity to strengthen its relationship with the international gaming community, significantly boosting their path to global success.

Established in 2024, Alpaka Games was founded by Can Askoy, Levent Alp, and Özgün Levent Kaya. Their prior experience spans roles at Rollic, Codeway, AdColony, and BiLira.
