The Epic Games Store will not charge a commission if a game earns less than a million dollars a year
Starting June 2025, the Epic Games Store will change its payment policy. From now on, the store will not take a share from sales if they are less than one million dollars.
This information was posted on the app store's website. Specifically, it states: “Developers will pay 0% on revenue up to their first million.”
Important:
- The standard 12% will be taken from the amount exceeding the first million;
- Revenue from each app is calculated separately;
- Every new year resets the calculation.
