Wombo Games is a freshly established studio launched by the co-founder of IO Interactive

Janos Flösser, co-founder of IO Interactive and former Chief Creative Officer at Square Enix, has unveiled Wombo Games, a newly formed studio.
The Copenhagen-based team is releasing its inaugural game titled Raiders of Blackveil. This title will debut in Steam Early Access during the summer months.
This game is a blend of multiple genres, combining a roguelite experience with MOBA-like characters and extraction gameplay, and supports co-op play for up to three participants.
The development of Raiders of Blackveil, which has already taken two years, involves a team of 21 developers who have previously contributed to popular series such as Hitman, Kane & Lynch, Just Cause, and Tomb Raider.
The studio emphasizes a non-hierarchical approach with limited management layers, aiming to leverage the talents of each team member to enhance game development.
"Raiders of Blackveil is particularly important to us as it's our premier project," stated Flösser. "It's a reflection of Wombo Games because every member has played a direct role in its creation."
This collaborative philosophy is also intended to guide the game's growth, incorporating input from the player community, as highlighted in their announcement.
"We make decisions collectively at Wombo and intend to involve community feedback after launching in early access later this year," Flösser added.
