Since January, the Lithuanian staff of Wargaming has decreased by 4%, while Lithuanian Moon Active’s workforce has dropped by 17.5%
IT companies with roots in Belarus continue to downsize their staff in Lithuanian offices, including game developers. This is reported by dev.by.

In the dev.by article, three gaming companies are mentioned: Wargaming, Belka Games, and Moon Active [the Lithuanian office of Moon Active was previously Melsoft. — Ed. note].
Among them, the Lithuanian team of Moon Active was hit the hardest in percentage terms. According to dev.by, since January 2025, its workforce has decreased by 17.5%, and since January 2024, by 37.7%. The Lithuanian Moon Active currently employs 160 people. The journalists' findings confirm reports of layoffs at Moon Active earlier this year. At that time, it was revealed that the company had let go of at least 20 employees.
The Lithuanian Belka Games currently employs 7.4% fewer people than at the start of this year and 35.9% fewer people than at the beginning of 2024, totaling 50 employees.
Regarding Wargaming, its Lithuanian workforce has decreased by 4% since January 2025, now numbering 801 employees. Compared to January 2024, it has decreased by 12.3%.
