"Dragon Age: The Veilguard" tops the list of nominees for the Gayming Awards 2025

The fifth annual Gayming Awards have unveiled their nominations, with "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" leading with three nominations in a total of twelve categories, including the prestigious Game of the Year.

Titles such as "Life Is Strange: Double Exposure," "Dragon's Dogma 2," "The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered," "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door," "Fear the Spotlight," and "Caravan SandWitch" have each received two nominations across various categories.

The accolades this year feature categories like Best LGBTQ+ Indie Game, Best LGBTQ+ Character, LGBTQ+ Voice Actor of the Year, along with awards for Industry Diversity and Community Impact.

The recipients of the Gayming Icon Award and the LGBTQ+ Streamer Rising Star Class award will be announced in June 2025.

The award ceremony is set for July 8 and will be broadcast on the streaming platform WOW Presents Plus by World of Wonder.

Robin Gray, the founder of Gayming Magazine & Gaming Awards, commented, "This year's Gayming Awards presents an incredible array of nominees. Ranging from top-tier AAA titles to empowering LGBTQ+ indie games, there's something for everyone."

Gray added, "Beyond the games, we're celebrating companies, individuals, and community groups who have shown exceptional dedication in supporting LGBTQ+ gamers, esports participants, and industry professionals over the past year."

Expressing further enthusiasm, Gray remarked, "The nominees in our content creator and voice acting categories bring immense value to the vibrant universe of queer gaming."
