Arcade idle games have brought SayGames over $300 million
SayGames has revealed the total revenue from the idle arcade games it has published. The company announced that as of today, such games have collectively generated $300 million.
SayGames categorizes games like My Perfect Hotel, Dreamdale, Wasteland Life, My Little Universe, My Little Farm Story, Gold Rush, and Last Stronghold as idle arcades. However, SayGames does not specify how much money each individual project has generated.
Here is the top-5 list of SayGames’ highest-grossing games across all genres, not just idle arcades, according to AppMagic:
1. Tower War — $26.1 million;
2. Black Deck — $22.8 million;
3. My Perfect Hotel — $22.1 million;
4. Squad Alpha — $21 million;
5. Dreamdale — $16.18 million.
Note: AppMagic reports the net IAP revenue of games on Google Play and the App Store after store commissions and taxes are deducted.
Additionally, SayGames announced a collaboration with LoadComplete, a studio from South Korea. They have agreed to publish a game developed by the team called Chainsaw Juice King—an idle arcade game with a fruit theme, where players must cut animated fruits with a chainsaw and grow their juice-selling business. According to SayGames, this is their first partnership in South Korea.
