Every day, 12 million people play Delta Force
The popularity of Delta Force continues to gain momentum. Team Jade announced that the daily active users (DAU) of the free-to-play shooter now reach 12 million people.

The developers revealed this figure in a news release published on the Chinese version of the Delta Force website. They did not specify whether the DAU figure includes users of the global version of the shooter or not.
Tencent, the parent company of Team Jade, highlighted the significant potential of Delta Force back in November last year. It expressed hope that over time the shooter would join its list of ‘evergreen’ hits — games that remain popular for years. As of December 31, 2024, this list included 14 projects, including Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile.
A large DAU size is one of the key criteria for including a game in Tencent’s ‘evergreen’ list. According to company reports, Tencent recognizes projects as hits when their quarterly DAU remains at 2 million people on PC or 5 million people on mobile devices. Another criterion is annual revenue. It must be no less than 4 billion yuan ($544 million).
To recap, Delta Force was released in China on September 26, 2024, on PC and smartphones. The global version of the shooter debuted slightly later — it became available on December 5 of the same year, but only on PC. The global mobile version of Delta Force will be released on April 21, 2025, and by the end of the year, the game will also be available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
According to Team Jade, the global mobile version of Delta Force has gathered 20 million pre-registrations so far. Therefore, it can be expected that the game's DAU will grow even more soon.
