Payments to developers of games for the Playdate crank console have exceeded one million dollars
Company Panic summarized the results of two years of operation of the digital store Catalog, featuring titles for the portable console Playdate. It proudly announced that since March 2023, it has paid developers, who sell their games there, a total of $1,043,186.85.

In April 2024, Panic reported payments amounting to $544,200. Thus, over the past 12 months, game developers for Playdate received a total of $498,900 from the company.
A few more figures from Panic's announcement:
- over two years, 262 games have appeared in the Catalog library;
- total game sales in Catalog amount to 289,503 copies.
Playdate officially launched in 2022, three years after its announcement. It is known that by February 2024, the hand-crank console was purchased more than 70,000 times worldwide.
