Nintendo has introduced the Nintendo Today app for smartphones

A new application by Nintendo targets smart device users with the goal of delivering direct news and updates.

Unveiled during a recent Nintendo Direct presentation, the Nintendo Today app showcases a calendar that gives daily insights on the company's games, series, direct presentations, and in-game activities.

This tool will offer user-specific content and inform about the anticipated Switch 2.

Available for free, the app can be downloaded via Apple's App Store and Google Play, but requires a Nintendo account to function.

In addition to widgets for home screens, Nintendo Today also includes comics and wallpapers tied to prominent Nintendo titles.
