Sporty Group inaugurates a new games development hub in the UK

Sporty Group has established a new game development center in the United Kingdom under the leadership of Jon Hare, the former head and creative director at Tower Studios.

Hare is spearheading a group of 17 employees focused on the Sociable Soccer series, following its acquisition by Sporty Games last July.

The team is currently working on a yet-to-be-revealed free-to-play soccer game slated for release later this year.

Hare expressed his enthusiasm about the venture, stating, "Collaborating with Sporty Group to launch this studio ensures our future as leading developers and publishers of sports titles with global reach. We have assembled a strong and motivated team and are actively seeking additional talent."

He further commented, "Partnering with such skilled developers, all dedicated to advancing sports gaming standards, is a true dream, and we anticipate revealing more about our projects soon."

Greg Parsons, Sporty Group's VP of business development, marketing, and media, remarked, "Jon and his team have a history of developing critically successful games that resonate universally.

"Including this expertise within the Sporty team will speed up the expansion of our gaming portfolio and will enhance our strategic goal of becoming a globally significant and varied entertainment platform."

The Sporty Group operates as a sports media, gaming, and social entity, managing products like the betting brand SportyBet, the sports application Sporty.com, and SportyTV.
