A PRIORI, IRI, and "EBR" have launched a survey among developers regarding support measures for the gaming industry in Russia
The APRIORI Association, the Internet Development Institute (IRI), and the legal company "EBR" want to find out what Russian developers think about support for the game development industry in the country. They have launched a special survey.
Developers are asked to rate the "usefulness" of various existing support measures in Russia using a ten-point scale. For example, they can evaluate current tax incentives, the status of "particularly significant projects," and accelerators. If developers have ever sought support, the survey organizers inquire about the challenges they faced.
Another important question in the survey is whether developers need assistance with exporting their games to other countries. There are only two response options here: "yes" and "no." Sharing additional ideas is not possible.
The organizers will collect responses until the end of March. The final results will be published on the APRIORI website. Along with them, a comprehensive list of gaming support measures in Russia and an analysis conducted by "EBR" of Russian laws affecting gaming companies will also be available on the website.
Based on the survey results, APRIORI, IRI, and "EBR" plan to create a so-called "needs map" for industry participants. This, along with recommendations, will then be submitted to government bodies.
