The current president and COO, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, will assume Egawa's responsibilities related to Capcom's Pachinko and Pachislo divisions.

Ryozo Tsujimoto, who is presently a director and executive corporate officer deputy overseeing development divisions, began his career with Capcom in April 1996 after graduating.

Kenkichi Nomura is also stepping down from his role as executive VP, with Yoshinobu Sasahara and Satoshi Arai transitioning to executive corporate officer and managing corporate officer roles, respectively.

Even after their departures, Egawa and Nomura will continue contributing to Capcom as board directors.

Last month, Capcom shared its financial performance for the nine months ending on December 31, 2024. The figures aligned with forecasts, despite a 16.3% decrease in net sales to ¥88.9 billion ($572.7 million) and a 33% drop in net income compared to the previous year.
