The Game Assembly (TGA), a Swedish institution specializing in game development education, is set to expand its offerings to the United Kingdom by partnering with the City of Liverpool College.

In autumn 2025, TGA plans to launch three specialized courses aimed at those aspiring to enter the gaming industry. These two-year programs will cover game programming, level design, and game art, each mimicking a real-world professional environment to foster collaborative skills among students from different fields.

Upon completing each academic year, students will have the chance to present their work to potential employers, a strategy that has translated into 97% of TGA's graduates in Sweden securing jobs in the industry soon after graduation.

Elaine Bowker, principal and CEO of the City of Liverpool College Group, praised the collaboration, stating it exemplifies the college’s innovative approach to adult education and enhances its gaming education offerings. She emphasized the importance of industry collaboration to supply businesses with well-trained professionals, viewing this partnership as a testament to that commitment.

Per-Anders Ring, TGA’s head of business and product, expressed enthusiasm about expanding to the UK, highlighting Liverpool's burgeoning gaming scene as an ideal location for their new educational venture. He noted the success of TGA’s educational model in Sweden as a platform for this international expansion.

Founded in Malmö in 2008, TGA previously extended its reach within Sweden by establishing a presence in Stockholm in 2019.
