Rekindled Studios secures £225,000 in a recent funding round

Animation and character art studio Rekindled has successfully raised £225,000 through a funding initiative spearheaded by several angel investors.

Among the investors are Oliver Jenkinson and Edo Salvesen, creators of Finstock Capital, Steve Tinkler and Felix Wong, founders of Lvl Up Partners, and Steve Bennett, co-founder of The Multiplayer Group.

The studio, located in the UK, plans to utilize the new funds to grow its workforce, recruit for key leadership positions, enhance its service offerings, and invest in talent and technological advancements.

Rob Moody, the CEO and head animator, expressed gratitude, stating, "We are grateful to have the support of investors who share our aspirations for Rekindled and believe in our capabilities."

He added, "This financing enables us to scale and develop efficiently without compromising the high standards of animation and character art our clients anticipate.

With our investors' backing, we plan to elevate Rekindled, expanding our potential and engaging in more exciting projects."

Established in 2022, Rekindled Studios was founded by Moody together with CTO and chief technical animator Siobhan Maracle. Later, Yogi Patel, the CFO and lead character artist, joined as a third partner.
