Seven Stars, a mobile development company based in Finland, has closed a seed funding round.

Finnish mobile game developer Seven Stars has successfully completed a seed funding round. Spintop Ventures and Behold Ventures spearheaded this round, with Sisu Game Ventures joining as a new investor.

According to a report by Pocket Gamer, the company also received continued backing from Failup Ventures and several angel investors, including Timo Soininen, the former CEO and co-founder of Small Giant Games. Additionally, they secured funding from the European Union for a research and development initiative.

The funds will enable Seven Stars to grow its workforce and enhance its development operations. "At Seven Stars, we're focused on creating the next generation of puzzle games by merging innovation with substantial industry experience," stated the company.

The development team brings experience from notable firms such as Moon Active, Rovio, Seriously, Next Games, and Small Giant Games, and is committed to advancing the mobile gaming field.

Sisu Game Ventures commented, "We are thrilled about Seven Stars' latest funding milestone, marking another investment for us in Finland. The team at Seven Stars has a proven track record in crafting compelling puzzle games swiftly, and their upcoming release merges strong creative talent with the commercial acumen necessary for success in mobile gaming."

Established in 2022, Seven Stars is led by CEO Alex Le Bell, with key members including CTO Olli Aurola and Creative Director Markus Tuppurainen.
